How to open: unzip the example data files in a folder, then you can use VANO to open the .ano file(s), which should contain pointers (file path information) to the original gray/color 3D image stack (normally a TIFF stack), the segmentation mask image (normally a .RAW format customized by Hanchuan Peng, - can also be a TIFF format), and the annotation record (normally an .APO file which is indeed a plain text CSV file).
